A Beam Finite Element for Static and Dynamic Analysis of Composite and Stiffened Structures with Bending-Torsion Coupling

چکیده
This research presents a new beam finite element capable of predicting static and dynamic behavior structures with bending-torsion coupling. The model here derived establishes relation between the bending torsional nodal degree freedom two node element. equilibrium equations are neglecting non-linear terms while stiffness mass matrices Galerkin’s method. shape functions obtained considering Timoshenko’s hypothesis moment constant along has been validated through numerical experimental results for simulation. comparison revealed relative difference mostly lower than 5% deformations natural frequency prediction, Modal Assurance Criterion (MAC) confirmed consistency in mode similarity.
